Can you recommend a movie...

Just wondering if someone could recommend a movie for school, specifically for American Government. If it were just American History, we could list thousands in an instant, but since it has to be focused on american government, well....not as easy to do.

We've got two weeks left in this class and at maximum we've got five chapters to go (and we cover roughly a chapter a day), so any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Grassy ass.

Hmm. Fail Safe, The Good Shepherd have at least a little bit of American government in it.

What rating are you looking for?

We're a college crowd, so it doesn't matter in that capacity, but I get a feeling that the school would frown if they heard rather explicit stuff.

Now that I think of it, I got a feeling that documentaries might be the way to go...but that's still a movie!

Failsafe....I dunno...sounds like if that qualifies we could go with WarGames too. -wink-

Being There from 1979 or 1999? Neither seem government related from the brief plot I read...

Missing from 1982? That sounds like a political type one...

I've only seen JFK once, does that get into government? I seem to recall it being about the assassination and conspiracy...

The rest seem like damn fine recommendations thus far...

Being There from 1979. One of my favorites. It definately relates to Government. Especially how apperances and expectations are far more important that substance.

I also like Primary Colors.

And a second vote for Wag the Dog.

I second and third this. Also, companion it with Network.

(oops. I didn't read 'til the end. I third and fourth Wag the Dog.)
