Trailer reminded me a lot of The Departed. It makes me wish these 2 guys had Scorsese directing them rather than the no name guy they got. I think the movie looks pretty terrible and DeNiro and Pacino are the only things going for it and that's not enough to get me to buy a ticket.

I would rather have Scorsese or Michael Mann directing as well. But Jon Avnet is certainly a NO name director. Even though his films tend to look a bit "Tv-ish" he has many directing credits under his belt: Red Corner, Fried Green TOmatoes, The War, 88 minutes, and the Great Tv movie "Uprising"...

I certainly don't buy Avnet directing this movie for such high caliber tandem of De Niro and Pacino. Still this is one flick I'm looking forward to seeing but with not so high expections.

I don't agree, but this is still hilarious.

At least the trailer makes the point of showing you that, you know, they're actually in the movie together. Heat kinda forgot to do that.

I'll put up with the screams and hollers (I've bean married to the same woman for 45 years ) just to see the two main men at work.

That's because this is a gimmick to get people in the seats because this most likely sucks.

I think I'll wait on either really good reviews, or DVD on this one. Sure, it's a movie fans dream to see these two legends on screen together, but lets be honest...this movie looks like shit from that trailer.

Until I get some reviews, count me out for now.

De Niro looks as if he's put on some weight for this movie while Al looks like... well, like Al.

the trailer didn't fill me with the same kinda excitement that i had when i first saw the trailer for Heat. but then again i'll be watching this in the cinema definitely

by the way, who's that covering Sympathy for the Devil in that trailer?

If a kick-ass movie like HEAT didn't get the public to go see it why would this movie with them both over 60?

I'm concerned that the more scenes DeNiro and Pacino share do not necessarily equal a better film. Godfather, Part II had two less shared scenes than Heat (in other words, zero) and that movie is even better.

I hope I am wrong but I have been hearing horrible rumors that this film only lasts 100 minutes.

Regarding that Red Band trailer, it didn't seem like there was much in it to actually make it a red band. Just the cursing I guess?

I think we have a new drinking game on our hands. Drink whenever DeNiro's character calls someone a "fucking mutt."

Decidedly average. Another small step in these twin icon's gradual slide into irrelevancy.
