Anyone Here See Spider-Man 3 In 3D?

If so, can you tell me if the entire film is in 3D or just certain parts a la Superman Returns?

Any info you care to share will be greatly appreciated.

It's not in 3D. Just regular IMAX.

It's okay, you can start a new thread when Harry Potter comes out :)

Spidey is also playing in DLP. I wonder how that looks.

I personally wouldn't watch it in DLP, especially since it was shot in 35mm film. I'm sure the scenes that are purely special effects look nice, but really, the only films to watch in DLP are those that were shot in digital (such as 300 and Superman Returns).

With IMAX, at least you're getting an upconversion of the print.

I'm sorry, up conversion of film? Would you please explain that?

I don't see why not. I saw it in DLP and it was fantastic. A very clean print with no dust or any other artifacts. It doesn't cost any more to see it in DLP either so if you have a choice why wouldn't you? There is a premium for IMAX though.
