Blades has a good chance of breaking $30m, Robinsons should be in the $20s. 300 continues to get closer to $200m.

I enjoyed all 3 flicks, good to see em doing well. The floor dropped out under TMNT on Friday. Premonition, somewhat surprisingly, continues to draw an audience, while Reign Over Me failed to gain any traction.

The Bus 03-31-07 11:02 AM

Yikes. Lookout isn't even in the top 10.

Seantn 03-31-07 11:11 AM

I believe it made 700,000 on Friday

Trevor 03-31-07 11:22 AM

I wonder how much of BoG was from the free tickets at Best Buy?

RichC2 03-31-07 11:32 AM

Doubt it was a lot.

fumanstan 03-31-07 11:35 AM

Darn, I was hoping Ninja Turtles would hold stronger for more sequels :(

RichC2 03-31-07 11:45 AM

I just remembered, wasn't yesterday the relaunch of Peaceful Warrior w/ the $15m in free tickets? Pretty bad they couldn't get 1/20th of the people to actually show up.

Mr. Cinema 03-31-07 11:50 AM

In defense of The Lookout, it's only playing at 955 theaters. The rest of the top 10 are in 1600 or more.

gotrice487 03-31-07 12:18 PM

Wow...I didn't expect Blades to make that much!

Is $32 million + DVD sales + international sales not enough to warrant a sequel?

Hardly a guarantee. Especially considering the huge drop.

The Antipodean 03-31-07 03:14 PM

A 71% drop is "Hulk" level bad. Of course, they are making a sequel to that, but I think that's more to do the movie "right" rather than popular demand.

Even for free, I had no desire to see it.

Trevor 03-31-07 11:50 PM

I saw 4 movies (all free) this weekend. Peaceful Warrior was ok, but a little long and slow. Reign on Me would have been very good with a better actor in Sandler's role, he just didn't do it for me. Blades of Glory was fairly funny, C+/B-. Lookout was the best of the bunch for me, B/B-.

Guess that didn't work out too well.

I used the free tickets for Peaceful Warrior to see Blades of Glory with my girlfriend. They didn't seem to care.

AndyCleveland 04-01-07 09:34 AM

i used the peaceful warrior tickets and walked out about an hour into it. horrible film, but pretty much what i was expecting.

If that's the case, it should have had a much higher per screen average. Looks like it did poorly.

Lateralus 04-01-07 12:36 PM

Boy I thought Reign Over Me was a sure fire hit, but I guess not!

I didn't see much advertising for it. And there's no star to push the film either.
