Re: Movies with "Where they are now" endings
Slightly off topic but the German Theatrical version of Spring Breakers (2012) had an added "Where are they now?" ending, which was done so that the distributor could get the lucrative "16" rating. In the end-text it is mentioned the girls got punished for their crimes.
For the DVD/Blu-ray release the "Where are they now?" text was removed, and the movie was slapped with an "18" rating.

Billy Wilder's remake of THE FRONT PAGE (1974) with Jack Lemmon and Walter Matthau had a "Where they ended up" ending. This was a year after AMERICAN GRAFFITI, which is the first one I recall with an ending like that, other than those crime films that told you at the end what sentence the criminal got or what prison they ended up in or when they got the death penalty. IN COLD BLOOD may have had something like that. Can't think of any others offhand, though. The old "Dragnet" TV show always ended with a recitation of the ultimate fate of the criminal of the episode, whether they got off with a slap on the wrist, a prison sentence in San Quentin or the death penalty.
