I might as well... Here are 30 (or so) of what I consider to be the most entertaining films (in no real order), that I have watched more than once and that I feel I can watch repeatedly without growing tired of them. I tried to avoid including anything from the past three or four years since I like to give things a little time before I include them on lists like this.

-Vertigo
-2001: A Space Odyssey
-The Crowd
-Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring
-The 400 Blows
-Metropolis
-Aguirre, the Wrath of God
-Empire of the Sun
-Minority Report
-West Side Story
-M
-The Battleship Potemkin
-Double Indemnity
-Le Samourai
-Grand Illusion
-The 39 Steps
-Being John Malkovich
-Spirited Away
-Solaryis
-Duck Soup
-12 Monkeys
-The Battle of Algiers
-Casablanca
-The Gold Rush
-The Return
-Kind Hearts and Coronets
-I Vitteloni
-Dr. Strangelove
-The Umbrellas of Cherbourg
-Singin' in the Rain

My favorites:

1. Stand By Me
2. The Shawshank Redemption
3. Good Will Hunting
4. Dazed and Confused
5. Midnight Run
6. National Lampoon's Animal House
7. Who Framed Roger Rabbit?
8. Stripes
9. Caddyshack
10. Back to the Future Trilogy
11. Rudy
12. National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation
13. National Lampoon's Vacation
14. The Karate Kid
15. The 40-Year-Old Virgin
16. L.A. Confidential
17. Blues Brothers
18. Pulp Fiction
19. Clerks
20. The Usual Suspects
21. Dogfight
22. Planes, Trains and Automobiles
23. Ferris Bueller's Day Off
24. The Ref
25. Swingers

1-5 are fairly set, but anything after that is pretty much just a generalization of where it would fall on my list. It's easy to say "This is my favorite movie". It's a little harder to say "This is my 15th favorite movie". At some point it becomes a bit arbitrary.

#1 has been Amadeus since 1985 and still is.

I'm not really into making lists of my favorite films. I just keep #1 in mind so I have an answer when someone asks me.

I generally forgo ranking because, really, it's so hard to say that you prefer Movie X exactly that much more than Movie Y.

Lost Highway
The Passion of Joan of Arc
The Kid Brother
Birth
Paris, Texas
The Scent of Green Papaya
Winter Light
A Woman Under the Influence
The Thing
Paper Moon
Harold & Maude
Lonestar
High Plains Drifter
