Destro looks a bit woosy and not too bad-ass....he certainly looks like a creepy villain, but a smoothie, not a creep. That Eccelton actor would fit better as Cobra Commander...

Gerald Okamura has been cast in the role of the hard master in the upcoming G.I. Joe movie. He is a veteran stuntman and actor of such films as 'The Sword and The Sorcerer', 'The Octagon', 'Big Trouble in Little China', and 'The Shadow'.

I don't get why Snake-Eyes can't just be wearing some black tights with some hints of body armor. The slacks look ridiculous on him and how is he supposed to fight in them?
The battle suits are awful looking too. I could see maybe one of the Joes wearing something like it as a prototype in a scene, but they look more like a reason to release deluxe action figures than as a functional weapon. The original costumes could easily have been tweaked enough to make them work. These look more like Cobra Commander's Battle Armor:

When I saw the initial designs for Transformers, I thought they were pretty awful, however, once I saw them in the film, my opinion changed.
I'm hoping that it will be the same for G.I. Joe because I find the costumes to be awful too.

Ok, I've seen this thread but I've always passed it up because although I watched GI Joe as a kid, it wasn't an 80's favorite. I liked it, but that's it.
But having seen some of the new pics and the imdb page for this film....I'm on board. It looks fun and I'm very much looking forward to this.
Also, I don't care what ya'll say, Snake eyes looks kick ass.
