Well I just watched Sophie's Choice for the first time, I have never been so disturbed by a single scene as I was by the choice scene. I'm not sure that I will ever be able to watch that scene again. I was just curious what scene from what movie rips your heart out the most?

well, the first time I ever remember bawling my eyes out at a movie was when I was about 9 or 10 and my sister had her friend over to watch the Corey Haim classic, "Lucas."

the whole end, man I covered my head with a blanket, and my sister was kinda making fun of me. Or maybe it was the whole "aww, he's crying!" but I felt embarrased about it :lol:

Um, can there by any doubt? Kevin Costner playing catch with his Dad at the end of Field of Dreams (with the cars w/ headlights on lined up for miles in the background). Getting chills just thinking about it.

The final scene in United 93 and the scene at the end of Schindler's List when the survivors of the camp are paying their respects at Schindler's grave.

There was a rape scene in Prince Of Tides that bothered the hell out of me. It didn't help that I really didn't see the movie, I walked into the room just before that scene came on, I walked out shortly thereafter and have never been able to see that movie.

I watched The Color Purple some years after my own sister passed and the moment Celie is running toward Nettie in the field of those flowers really gets me sobbing.

I also love the reunion of Red and Andy in Shawshank.
