I'm going to go with Taxi Driver, since The King of Comedy isn't an option on your poll. Also, I would have gone with Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore, The Last Waltz or After Hours over The Aviator any day.

I picked Goodfellas because I like watching it more than I do Raging Bull.

'The Aviator'... hands down...

that was a throwback to classic American cinema that was actually better than most classic American cinema...

it reminded me why Scorsese has the rep he does...

'Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore' should have been on the list... Socorro doesn't suck btw... it's cool as hell... the El Camino is one of the most awesome places ever...

Seriously? Hands down??? Have you ever seen any of his other films?

Anyway, I'd pick Goodfellas. I never get tired of watching it. Easily one of the finest films of the past couple of decades. EW ranked it #13 on their list of the 100 greatest films of the past 25 years. I would have put it much higher.

I've always had a soft spot for Last Temptation of Christ, the best film about Jesus I've ever seen.

I voted for Taxi Driver but The Aviator is such a great film. Certainly better than Goodfellas.

After Hours

The only other films of his that I've seen are The King of Comedy and Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore.

None of his other films interest me, or I'd have seen them by now.

But thanks anyway.

Hard to believe, but I'm going to say The Color Of Money. I loved The Hustler so much, and I really, really enjoyed that film. So much. The end was as good as the end of the first...redemption, almost.

Too many 'perfect' movies on that list to vote.

Same here, except I'd move Taxi Driver to #1 & slide down the other two accordingly.

GoodFellas is timeless. Just a great film (although I still like Godfather I and II just a tad more).

Oh, and though it's not my favorite, the poll deserved to have AGE OF INNOCENCE mentioned.

Goodfellas is his best movie, IMO with Raging Bull a close #2, as the boxing scenes in Raging Bull are pure Scorcese. I never got TaxiDriver, as I tried and tried to watch it, but found it rather boring.

Bringing Out the Dead.

Just a great atmospheric movie that flies by all too fast. It feels like a polished up version of Mean Streets, another one of my favorites.

While I love almost all of his films I will go with After Hours. Twisted and funny.
