As long as it's made by the same 3 guys that made the last 3 films enjoyable, no worries over here.

The big question is will Connery come out of retirement to be in this? I don't care if it will be almost twenty years since Crusade when this finally hits the big screen - I'm there. |
I just wonder who the bad guy(s) will be - hard to top Nazis.

The roe sham bow (sp?) between Connery and Ford made up for so much that I loved Crusade. And- Any ricochet through the head scene is gold. That Plus, the seagulls into the propellers …Somebody (anybody!) should tell Sabrett about this flick. |
How about the Illuminati? They're kinda chic now.

I'm with you. It also had the best cinematography of the series, and the best sidekick. |
I can't wait. I hope this film is given the same care that Stallone gave with Rocky Balboa.

Temple of Doom is my favorite, mostly because it was one of the early vhs tapes i had as a kid and watched over and over and over and over
I love Raiders...Last Crusade seems the worst to me (but still a great movie), but the wife loves it |
This should be a fun movie. I enjoy all of the others quite a bit.

Connery ruined LAST for me. If he would of played like a know it all tough guy instead of a winy old man I would have liked it. I'm sure he thought why play the same character again as he did in UNTOUCHABLES, PRESIDIO, NEVER SAY NEVER AGAIN.

I'll be there. Those movies are some of the most entertaining ever made.

Loved Temple. LC ehhh it was ok.
The only thing that ruined Last Crusade for me is what they did to Sallah. In Raiders is was a gret digger, well respected, great ally of Indy. In LC they turned his character into a bumbling fool. Plus I liked Raiders & Temple's more serious tone to them (somewhat) LC just felt too goofy. I hope with Indy IV they do the Batman Begins type thing and make it a little more serious tone to it. We will see. |
I've never met anyone who liked "Temple of Doom". Personally, I hated it too. And thought "The Last Crusade" put the series back on track. Not as good as "Raiders". But very few movies are.

I love all three films (although the darn-near flawless Raiders rules in my book, by a long shot), but I don't get how Temple is looked at as simply a "darker" Indy. That aspect of the flick is all fine with me, but the Willie-Indy scenes are just plain goofy and sometimes painfully unfunny. In contrast, the Shorty-Indy scenes are humorous and really click (to me, at least).
Overall, I always thought Temple tries to balance too much silliness with a dark storyline. Still, a lot to like! Oh yeah, really looking forward to IV! |
