I'm Goin Nuts Trying to Remember This Movie !!

can anyone help me and my friend remember this film?

it came out within about the last year

the opening shot was 2 people riding mountain bikes in the high desert (i think either arizona or utah)

i think it was a suspense thriller or spy thriller

there might have been a helicopter in the opening scene (the mountain bike shot was definitely done from a copter)

we both saw it and neither one of us can remember the title but the opeing scene was great

thanks to anyone that recall this film

You might consider relaying plot elements rather than single shots.

Uh, with what little info given, sounds like it might be Donnie Darko.

I seem to recall a mountain bike scene in the desert in Mr and Mrs Smith but I don't think it was the opening scene. I didn't really like the movie and didn't pay much attention, so I might be fuzzy.

There was that cheesy motorcross movie from a year or two back. Was it that?

Or was it Alex Rider?

Did the guy on the bike witness a murder and later board a plane that later filled with snakes?

I saw a movie once where they listed the actors names at the beginning and it had that guy that's in all the movies in it. Then there was one scene in a car. Maybe that was it?

Was it something Extreme or something like that where they were a bunch of 20 year olds and they were dealing with Terrorists?

thanks everyone, i know it wasn't austin powers, donnie darko, 8 legged freaks, extreme, or beavis ..... i saw mr. and mrs. smith and i rememeber the desert bike scene but that was in the middle of the movie, i might check it out again to see if there was one in the beginning

if i could remember even one other single thing i could probably get it but i swear i can't remember anything else about the movie

this opening shot was pretty spectacular and i wanted to show it to someone who really liked mountain-biking, i guess maybe that it was the highlight of the movie and the rest was pretty bad ... so, i should ask people to think of a bad movie with a great opening shot of mountainbiking!!

as far as the godfather, i think you are getting confused about a mountain-biking scene ... you're thinking about when don corleone went boogey-boarding with the tataglia brothers

Were they bicycles or motorcycles?

My first thought was Iron Eagle.
