I always liked how the colors of the suit in Superman Returns matchup with the evil superman costume from III. Maybe the new Superman is evil !

I always thought so too. I guess that was part of Singer's attempt to pay homage to all the Superman incarnations.

I've always kind of liked the darker colors of the evil suit.

Judging by the pics, the suit sure doesn't look like anything great unless it's being worn.

I recall a couple of years ago a woman brought in an authentic Chris Reeve Superman costume to the Howard Stern show. They had short, fat Arty put it on and it was, of course, awful looking. Next, Howard put it on. I expected it to look pretty good on him since he's 6'5" but it looked all wrong. Ugly and mishappen, probably because Howard is skinny. The fact is, the suit was custom made for a tall, muscular, barrell chested guy. It wouldn't look right on anyone except someone matching Reeves build.

Yeah tailored for 6'4'' and his peak muscle build. He looks just pimp badass in that pic with the 5 o'clock shadow and shadowy look. Favorite Supes movie!!!
