Is there a good place to download (not stream) movie trailers at?

(If this is in violation of any forum rules, please lock...thanks.)

you can save the trailers on apple.com/trailers ... you may have to have QT Pro tho...?

Thanks!

Would there be a good site to get independent trailers? One of the ones I'm looking for is a Stephen King film from last year called "Riding the Bullet".

You can save any Quicktime movie. They're all saved on your harddrive. Just search for .mov files.

Does anyone have a site for older movie trailers?

It baffles me why the studios don't want us downloading these. They're advertisements, you'd think they'd want us watching them repeatedly, sharing with our friends, etc.

I've been able to find alot of older trailers and direct download links to many newer ones at

just use apple's. Open the stream, click on Window > Show movie info > Copy the URL under "Source". Paste the URL into your favorite download manager, window, etc. save as.

There are lots of QuickTime trailers at apple site, if you install "QuickTime Alternative" you will have a .mov downloader which can download the full trailers for you.

With Quicktime Pro you can download any embedded quicktime movie with a simple right click. It is easy enough to upgrade the free Quicktime player to the Pro version with a *cough*crack*cough*.

There are tons of old, archived movie QuickTime movie trailers available on Apple's site going back to 2000 or so.

http://www.apple.com/trailers

Just go to the bottom-right of that page, and use the "Search Trailers" or browse by using the "Complete Archive by:" drop-down menu.
