The Krays, why not on Region 1 DVD
 

Anyone no why the Krays is not on DVD in the US yet? Is there a place lobby for it's release?

My first post on this site asked if anyone knew when this was coming out. I never scored the laserdisc thinking I'd get pick it up on the next format. Well, six years (or has it been seven?) after I scored my first DVD player (Sony, still goin' strong and I use the shit out of it), this question doesn't even have the distinction of a vague blur. I've railed about this numerous times over the years.

We are getting crap SCinemax and straight to video pablum, and there is no hope in sight for this movie on DVD (it should have a Criterion release for fuck's sake).

The Crow Road (a BBC adaptation of an excellent Iain Banks' novel; honestly which ones aren't excellent?) will most likely never see region 1. So, I don't know what I'm getting so upset about. I have to buy a region free anyway. Might as well buy it for two movies instead of one. :)
