Ouch for A Good Year, but I'm not surprised. I honestly saw no promotion for it AT ALL, aside from the mentions it received in Crowe's 60 Minutes interview. Hell, I hadn't even seen a trailer for it at any movie I've seen, and I see a decent number of films. I think Fox blew their whole promotion budget on Borat.

The thing about Borat is most of it's promotion has been cheap due to Cohen's apperances on talk shows and news features. I honestly haven't seen many ads for it.
I've seen a few for A Good Year, but it honestly strikes me as a movie that would play better on video.

I saw A Good Year trailers several times in the past few weeks, but it didn't look that great. Rich city guy inherits a vineyard, where he learns how to stop and smell the roses. Meh.

Yeah considering it made nearly 10% more than it did last weekend, and it's had a solid multiplier both weekends (increase from Friday to Saturday, most movies that drop 55% or more drop from Friday to Saturday) I'd say it has a fantastic chance of busting through the $100m mark.

Borat is up to $107m worldwide.
Bond will top next weekend.
Bond will top next weekend.

Bond has no direct competition next weekend. I think it will have between $30 mil - $40 mil opening weekend. This is a new Bond, so it may open on the softer side, but I'm excited to see it.

If Casino Royale doesn't open to at least 40 million, I'm going to be pretty shocked. I love Borat, but Bond will be #1 for sure... but I don't think Borat will drop that much % wise, it has no real comedy competition...

It's incredible that Flushed Away AND Santa Clause 3 both lost only about 10% from last weekend's business.
Here's something interesting about Borat:
I see this movie going to $100MM easy.
Oh, and harsh times for Harsh Times, eh?
