Re: Almost Famous 2?
Almost Famous 2 was a direct-to-video sequel. It was set in the 1980s, and the only returning character was Fairuza Balk's groupie, who was shagging her way through a hair metal band that was sort of a combination of Def Leppard, Motley Crue, and Van Halen.
It's been out of print for ages, but occasionally shows up on cable. |

Not exactly Almost Famous 2, but the Broadway musical is about to open. Previews start Monday. Official opening is 11/3.
I have tickets for late January. Can't wait. https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/dvdtalk...b9ce0eccfa.jpg |

Cool CNN interview with Crowe about brining the show to Broadway, in the link below.

Almost Famous, the stage musical adaptation of the 2000 Cameron Crowe film, will play its final performance on Sunday, Jan. 8, 2023, the latest casualty of a crowded Broadway scene and a New York tourist season still reeling from Covid. I had wanted to see it too. Oh well. |
Re: Almost Famous 2?
