By the way I'm taking note of all recommendations in this thread. Thanks! Didn't realize there were so many. I try to stick to what I can get at the local library (which is an oustanding number of DVDs available) and Blockbuster Online. It will take me months to go through the suggestions though! (I get through 5-10 movies a week).

Out of those, or in addition to, what are some contemporary titles? I.e. 1990-Present. Do'h can't believe I forgot Pearl Harbor - watched that also. I'm into big blocksbusters, i.e. Saving Private Ryan. I'm commercialized

Thanks again!

Do you mean made in 1990-present or ones that take place in 1990-present.

Made in 1990-present.

I've watched old films and I'm more of a contemporary-film type of person. Never got into most of Criterion's films, for instance.

Then if you like post 1990 made war films, check out Enemy at the Gates. Visually, it's stunning.

I'll say it again, Brotherhood of War and The Winter War. Brotherhood was mad in the 2000's and Winter war was early 90's. Both are amazing.
