#1 & #2 = Aston Kutcher

Average movie goers taste in movies, terrible movies always do the best, Hollywood's out of ideas, industry's going to hell, etc.

That sucks School for Scoundrels isn't going to do much. I didn't have much interest going in, but I thought it was pretty hilarious, even with Heder dragging it down. I think it was marketed wrong, if they marketed more toward funny quasi-family fare instead of looking like a tame PG-13 version of a meaner movie it would have done better.

And I laughed pretty hard at Franco's recent resume. I hate that pretentious little shit, I hope he dies in Spidey and is never seen again.

if memory serves, the only thing PG-13 about scoundrels was the language, shooting each other in the nuts with paintballs and gay references. haha.

I saw it and I didn't think it was terrible. It doesn't deserve to be booed or anything, but it's not a very good movie. It's serviceable. I guess it will end with $15-$20MM which is a bit under the reported budget. The movie needed to be a bit more character driven -- I think it would've done better if the characters were "quirky" and well written. Not quirky in the sense of Wes Anderson or Napoleon Dynamite, just a bit more fleshed out.
