Peter Jackson talks Halo
didn't see this posted.
http://www.aintitcool.com/node/30050 the way he speaks about it makes me excited. |
I found a few shorts that the director, Neill Blomkamp has done, on Youtube. Really interesting stuff, so I have growing faith in this now; especially in their (director, WETA, etc) ability to create a new, wholly realisitic world.

I've only seen the first video but it seems like this guy has the skills to pull off a Halo movie. Some of the style and shots reminded me of Ridley Scott. I like how the military handled their guns, pretty realistic. Special effects were pretty good too. Imagine what he can do if he's given a real budget.

Those are awesome videos from Neill. Thanks for the links. This sould be good!

Holy hell, this guy's good. Thanks for the vids.

Those videos actually interest me more in terms of concept for a plot than Halo, though I really want to see a Halo movie. With PJ producing and this guy directing it should be a pretty good flick.

Will they keep it true to the game?
Meaning (for interior areas) will they just use one room over and over again? ;) |
