From Alien vs Predator:

"Rated PG-13 for violence, language, horror images, slime and gore".

Good to know some people are watching out for slime!

"Horror images"?

Does that mean people getting limbs chopped off or is Cathy Bates getting naked?

It's a bit vague.

People getting limbs chopped off would be graphic violence - horror images is the Aliens and Preadators standing there looking all scary.

That makes no sense...then again that "slime" thing doesn't either.

So all we need is Gary Oldman to look scary in a movie and that qualifies as "horror images" or is that "Gary Oldman images".

Shouldn't Aliens and Predators looking scary be "Creature images" or some other BS description?

I'ma waiting for a movie to include this description:

"spaceship explosions"

Team America's "involving puppets" part made me laugh a little when I saw it.

I think it's because the ratings board is of the opinion (and I think they are correct) that most people who object to movie violence don't consider Sci-Fi violence to be "real" violence... because Sci-Fi movies are about things that aren't "real" while non-Sci-Fi movies are about "real" violence. -ohbfrank-
