Saw III (How many SAWs will we have to SEE before we've SEEN them all?)

I haven't seen any of them, but I just wanted to start a thread with that title.

Here's the trailer and the site.

Trailer: http://media.filmforce.ign.com/media...d_1635867.html

Website: http://www.saw3.com/

Oh and an event that is being tied into this release: A Blood Drive

That was actually a pretty damn good trailer - here's hoping it's much better than the piece of shit sequel

Pretty obvious after saw 2 there would be a sequal. Im looking forward to this one. The poster is pretty creative going with the body parts theme for numbers.

I never saw the sequel because I thought the original was pretty terrible. The trailer looks exactly like the previous two, so if you liked those, you might be in luck.

How many Saws would a see-saw see, if a see-saw could see Saws?

Yeah didn't really care for the first one, skipped the 2nd and will steer clear of the third. The trailer played before 'The Descent' and indeed looked like more of the same.

I loved both of them, can't get enough of Jigsaws voice. This should be good.

Just got done watching part one for first time tonight. It was much better than I thought it was going to be.

Haven't watched part two yet, and probably won't until the uncut DVD comes out...unless I can find a spare moment to check this out in the theatre, I might repeat the process for part three.

yeah. While I'm not much of a fan of these sorts of films the Saw II was a lot better than the first. Atleast it had some sort of wit to it. I'm looking forward to this.

The first one was amazing and caught me completely off-guard. It's now a tradition to see each one that gets released.

I'll probably wind up seeing this. While I thought Saw 2 sucked compared to the original (Saw had a nice demented mind game to it.. the sequel seemed more like a predictable straight-to-video pseudo-action flick with one of the most annoying characters ever put to celluloid (Franky G's character)), it still had its moments.

Anyone know what it's actually about? The first movie was set in a cell and established Jigsaw, second was set in a house and established his heir, third one just them going nuts on a national scale?

One movie each year based off how far they can push the envelope (shock violence)... Let's face it... This is the F13 series of the 2000's. It's following an eerily similar pattern. The aformentioned was successful up until Part 4, so I expect the same for Saw. The audience will tire by Part 5. Doesn't mean we won't see them though. Rumor has it they already have plans for up to number 6.

By Part 5, the puppet on the bicycle will likely be alive and the killer itself. ha.
