A source on the IMDB message boards also says McClane will be battling a Japanese villan in the Carribean.

Hey....at least until this stupid and utterly horrible idea is discarded, we can dream that this flick goes the less traveled route and the hero's daughter is horribly and savaged killed - on screen.

Sounds to me he doesn't even want to do the damn movie in the first place. If somehow this is true, he must have been offered an ungodly huge amount of money.
