I don't know what's scarier. Watching the movie knowing it came out 20 years ago or watching Ed Rooney chasing after Ferris for 2 hours knowing what the actor was arrested for a few years ago.

BTW, as many times as I've seen this flick, it just occurred to me the last time I watched it that if Ferris hadn't skipped school this one day, his mom wouldn't have lost the deal she was working on, and she would've been able to buy him the car he so desperately wanted.

I remember reading USA TODAY 20 years ago today,

and

Mike Clark gave Ferris Bueller a FOUR-STAR rating.

I can't access and embed YouTube at the moment, but search for:

"Requiem for a Day Off".

Talk about dramtic! If that's what was shown as a trailer I don't think anybody would have seen it.

Who feels old? Anyone....Anyone.....

I remember this coming out when I was going into 8th grade, as I believe Back to School, Ferris, and Aliens were the big summer hits.

The best line of the movie is, "Cameron will marry the first girl he lays!"

If Ferris was a high school senior 20 years ago, then today he's got teenagers of his own.

Oh Yeah?
Love Missile F1-11?
March Of The Swivelheads?

Easily one of the greatest film soundtracks ever put together.

They don't make teen films like they used to.
