The Peter Saarsgard  Appreciation Thread

I first got exposed to him through The Skeleton Key. Then came Flightplan. Now Kinsey. I plan to watch all movies where he has had a considerable part. Who else is either totally in love with him (raises hand) or just think he's an awesome actor? LOVE that southern drawl

I had seen him in so many movies and thought he was great in all of them. However, it wasn't until I looked him up after seeing "Jarhead" that I realized it was one actor in all those parts. Impressive. I think he is a great.

I'm not in love with him, but I think he is one of the better actors working today who has yet to make it really big. I suggest you check out Shattered Glass.

Another vote for Shattered Glass. Hayden Christensen is pretty good in that film too for all Hayden haters.

Good actor, but I keep confusing him with Ewan McGregor.

Another vote for Shattered Glass. Brilliant performance by Saarsgard. I also agree that Christensen was very good.

Peter Saarsgard has been one of my favorite actors since I saw SG.

I'm floored by the fact that he's supposedly straight.

But yeah...fantastic actor.

He's been great in many really fine films. Another good one that hasn't been mentioned is "The Dying Gaul". Campbell Scott and Patricia Clarkson also give terrific performances opposite him.

If you're crushing over PS then you must go and rent Shattered Glass like today. You'll be pushed over the edge in your crush with that one. I don't even have a crush on him and get all tingly over that performance.

I loved his turn as host of SNL..the skits weren't all that funny but he was great.

Wait, do I have a crush on him?

I agree, I expected more from him, maybe it was the writers fault.

After Shattered Glass I liked him in Boys Don't Cry

Shouldn't your posts contribute something other than point out that you started a similar topic that hasnt been discussed in 18 months?

I can't believe no one is saying anything about his performance in K:19. He was really good in that one.
