Yeah, the order of that list sucks

What about "Fletch"? I was surprised that didn't make that cut. It's certainly funnier than a lot of movies on that list.

"Do you own rubber gloves Mr. Nugent?"

"No, I rent them. I have a lease with an option to buy."

The Wedding Singer is the third funniest Christine Taylor movie. That's the worst list ever.

They did the same thing with Naked Gun. I guess it was tough to decide which one was the funniest.

Dodgeball
My Cousin Vinny
The Brady Bunch Movie
Under the Rainbow

I would put these films in the list. Some of those movies are just lame.

Bravo's List of Funniest Movies of All Time

I got to # 53 with Dr. Strangelove, or How I Learned To Love The Bomb, and went, "Huh?" First off, wherever you put Dr. Strangelove on the list, 52 movies have never been created that were funnier than Dr. Strangelove... and I was proved right in the next two... #52 Meet The Parents. Are you kidding me? It's not terrible, but it's nowhere near as funny as people tried to say it was... and then Vacation. No, seriously, Vacation, that one joke movie, that spawned a series or really bad comedies...
I turned it off right there... thank god... before I would've kicked out my screen at #14 with Napoleon Dynamite.

Oh, and btw... Caddyshack is #1... sorry, not #2. No offense.

what kind of list is it that wedding singer is @ #7 while monty python and the holy grail is suffering at #40. to me, monty p. & the holy grail is one of the funniest movies of all time and SHREK! WHAT! shrek 2 was better and shrek should have not even been in there. shrek 2 would have been up in the 60's-80's. this list is such crap. and there's something about mary did not deserve to be that high and waiting for guffman should have been higher up, robin hood: men in tights was awesome. where was that? i think anchorman was frickin' hilarious and was both steve carell's and will ferrell's funniest movie yet and should have been in the top 40, it was funnier than old school and wedding crashers in my opinion. i think that they should do a list online or through the mail and have the people vote on the 100 funniest movies of all time and see what they have to say. however, people aren't always good at making lists (espially so much) because too many people have diff. views on what's comedy and most have not seen many comedies. i also think office space and slapshot shoud have been higher. and i think that it should have only been "the police academy", not the rest of the 10 sequels or however many they've continued to make. they just keep getting worse. have they quit on those yet? the incredibles baffles me, and i thought clerks was pretty boring, i couldn't even finish it. it was like a mediocre acted and written college play. this list is so screwed up. at least they have animal house and caddyshack up there. with the way this list went, i wouldn't be surprised to see it up at 50 something cuz' bravo really screwed it up.

i would think if they saw their favs of all time and most people's weren't on the list if they would indeed endorse such a lame list. my guess is no.
I wondered this as well when the person who was speaking about Monty Python ATHG said "THIS is the finniest movie of all time." I bet he didn't know it was buried somewhere in the middle and below Meet The Fockers and the like.

More comedies missing in action from the list:
Any Which Way But Loose...which stands the test of time, and
Used Cars was freakin hilarious too.

I thought about shutting this off right from the start. The Birdcage at #99.I found that movie to be hilarious. It's not top 10 material but it is much funnier than alot of what was listed.

Planes,Trains & Automobiles not being listed is a joke.Ditto Coming to America. Both were very funny.Uncle Buck also deserved a place.

The reason I kept watching was to see where The Big Lebowski would be on the list.It is my favorite comedy.I was disapointed in its placement.

This list is ass backwards.

This is less like a list of comedies and more like Schindler's List.

(In a gloomy-list sort of way)

It's just a list that I'd rather not have to deal with...

Like a list of chores, debts... list of teeth I need pulled...

...kinda like that list of people with whom you've had sexual relations that the local clinic made you fill out after they told you you had HIV....

Yeah, THAT kinda list.

Bravo, Bravo.

List of channels I will no longer watch:

3. WE

2. Lifetime

1. Bravo

The ten movies I believe to be the funniest are (in no particular order):

Groundhog's Day
Monty Python and the Holy Grail
Clerks
Strange Brew
Animal House
Zoolander (most likely #1)
Half Baked
Office Space
American Pie
There's Something About Mary
Airplane

err make that top 11 in no order I tried not to include sequels, even though they can be just as if not funnier then the original

I think reading the suggestions made by some of the posters is almost as funny as reading Bravo's horrible list. What makes some of the posts even funnier is that people are so upset that their mediocre film isn't included.

Hey, all because you find something funny, that doesn't automatically make it one of the funniest movies of all time....this goes for both the people posting here and to the makers of Bravo's list.

I think it's useless to come up with a list like this anyway, it is so incredibly subjective...probably the most subjective movie list you can make. It's impossible to even have a rational discussion about the picks...if you laughed harder at Date Movie than any other film, who has the right is to say that it isn't the funniest movie you have ever seen.

this list SUCKS!

What the hell????? This list should be #1 on the funniest list of all time. They should take all of the people that voted for half of this crap and put them on a boat together. Legally Blonde? You must be kidding. Look, Big was a "cute" movie, but by no means is it FUNNY. Here's what we think should have been on the list: Spaceballs, Coming to America, Planes, Trains, &Automobiles, Fletch, Harlem Nights, Robin Hood: Men in Tights, Christmas Vacation, and many more. Who are these people that voted for movies like Napoleon Dynamite? Are you kidding me? I'm going with the idea that the voters are all pretty young, cause Shrek was NOT one of the funniest movies of ALL time. I weep for our future.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one who was aghast by the ranking. At some point, I just decided that I would look at it as a list of 100 funny movies IN NO PARTICULAR ORDER. That's the only way I could still enjoy being reminded of some wonderful movies over the years. In fact, most list programs should probably be watched this way.

Can we all agree this list is a void merely because Meet the Fockers ranked? Despite all arguments, which should be higher, which should be on the list, lists are stupid and always wrong..... Meet the Fockers just causes the brain to shut down to any other discussion of the list.
