Will the average teen even realize where this catchphrase is from anyways? I mean, it's been atleast 7 or so years since DVD's zoomed past VHS and those went away. Most jack black fans in their teens and even early twenties might not even remember those days.
Might as well make a movie about a record store clerk and name it after some quality of sound! How craaaazzzy!

Jack Black is funny? Who knew? He could be the nicest guy in the world same with Steve Martin but I just don't think hes that funny. I did like School of Rock but after seeing that movie 95 billion times & having TBS running in the background when they show that movie to death I am just plain annoyed by the movie now.

I love the trailer. What makes it freaking awesome is hearing the Ghostbuster theme song. I cant wait to see this movie, seems like its gonna be alot of fun

As the trailer shows... Jack Black and Mos Def are just some cool motherfuckers. The ruin their VHS tapes. They make these ridiculous 'remakes'. And the ridiculous remakes gather a hip little cult following (like Gondry's films?).
This actually seems pretty low concept for Gondry.
