Sleeping Beauty - Maleficent

Numanoid 04-25-06 05:25 PM

Alex Forrest in Fatal Attraction

Spoiler:
Valeris

Perkinsun Dzees 04-25-06 06:02 PM

Joan Crawford in "Mommy Dearest"

Barbara Stanwyck in "Double Indemnity"

Bette Davis in "Little Foxes"

Simon Yam in "Full Contact"

and that chick from "Leave Her to Heaven"

Joe Molotov 04-25-06 06:21 PM

Angela Lansbury in "The Manchurian Candidate"

I also liked Meryl Streep in the remake for different reasons. Her vaguely incestuous relationship with her son was a little creepy.

Norma Desmond (Gloria Swanson) in Sunset Blvd.

Michael Corvin 04-25-06 06:41 PM

Ursula in the Little Mermaid

Johnny Boy 04-25-06 07:11 PM

Right now it's a tie between GoGo Yubari in Kill Bill Vol. 1 and the lady who rocked the role of Satan in The Passion of the Christ.

DarkEye 04-25-06 09:49 PM

Don't Forget the Woman Ursa in Superman/Superman II.

Plus one more vote for Ursula in Little Mermaid

Giles 04-25-06 09:53 PM

- Cruella Da Ville (from the animated Disney film 101 Dalmations)
- Sam Phillips as Katya (Die Hard: With a Vengeance)
- the female ninja from 'Lone Wolf and Cub: Baby Cart at the River Styx' that makes mincemeat of a hapless adversary, and cuts off as many bodyparts as possible with a sword.

Rypro 525 04-25-06 10:02 PM

Giles 04-25-06 10:23 PM

You never picked that up in the original?

Catherine Trammell in "Basic Instinct"

arod1171 04-26-06 12:19 AM

Louise Fletcher (Cuckoo's Nest)
Kathy Bates (Misery)

ReduxGuy 04-26-06 12:47 AM

After seeing both films, Catherine Tramell, by far.

Damn, evil IS beautiful.

Johnny Boy 04-26-06 01:26 AM

Yes, unless evil is Kathy Bates in Misery.

I think Maleficent is an inspired choice. I'd also have to agree with Audition, and throw in Milla Jovovich in Zoolander. :D

Does Sadako from The Ring count?

And, of course, Rita Hayworth in The Lady From Shanghai and Nicole Kidman in To Die For.

arod1171 04-26-06 06:51 AM

Ooops, we haven't mentioned one of the greatest baddies of all time, Magaret Hamilton in The Wizard of Oz.

FantasticVSDoom 04-26-06 07:08 AM

Another vote for Maleficant...She ranks as one of my all time favs. Have the tattoo on my arm.
