Just saw Crash and Brokeback= Winner CRASH

Saturday night at home and we bought Brokeback and immediately after that was done we caught Crash on Showtime...

Wow.... i have to say both were great movies and told their story very well...

but in the end, i believe Crash had told the story alot better and had more emotion then the other...

off topic: Why the hell is Randy Quaid sueing? he was in Brokeback for a total of 3 minutes?

Dr. DVD 04-10-06 08:35 AM

I agree, though Crash had better cinematography IMO.

Me hopes this doesn't turn into another debate thread. ;)

Which one was better?

Patman 04-10-06 11:17 AM

I still give the edge to Titanic.

riley_dude 04-10-06 11:54 AM

Both were good movies. Crash was the safer choice.

No way, Crowe would kill Douglass in a fair fight.

Be ready for some hate-mail from the writer of the short story BBM is based on.

I'm glad there's finally some discussion about these two films here on the site.

The Antipodean 04-10-06 01:03 PM

I can't believe Star Wars got beat by Annie Hall. WTF, dude?

NatrlBornThrllr 04-10-06 01:05 PM

I watched Brokeback for the first time last night. In fact, I was just about to come in here to bump one of the fifty-four threads that already exist about Crash and Brokeback so that I could post my comments. Instead, I'm going to keep my thoughts to myself, sit back, and watch this one unfold.

You're not supposed to say Crash was better than Brokeback, otherwise people like Kenneth Turran will call you a neanderthal and try to discredit you personally. After all, only one opinion is correct when it comes to this.

OldBoy 04-10-06 04:05 PM

another thread on this subject...sweet!

which one?
Brokeback crying...

mongoco 04-10-06 04:55 PM

:horse:

that said, no movie with Tony Danza in it should win an Oscar

So no Oscar campaign for She's Out of Control 2?

Agree, especially if we're talking about semi trucks and buses and whatnot.

I strongly disagree! I thought the first half of Titanic was extremely boring, in part as a love story. The second half was much better, and exciting, but predictable. L.A Confidential was an exceptionally a better movie overall, from the beginning to the end.
