I don't really know what else to say than the topic subject. I've been watching Adaptation more and more here lately and it's slowly making it's way up my favorites list. It seems to perfectly capture the struggle of a writer during the writing process. What are some other flicks along the same lines?

If you want to expand a bit, how about any films that deal with any artistic creative process also. I know it may be hard to come up with too many specificly about screenwriting.

Adaptation is one of my favorites as well, and has been for years now. I've seen many a masterpiece since I first saw Adaptation, and only a handful have been able to surpass it. What can I say, I adore Charlie Kaufman.

In regard to your question...you might want to check out Fellini's 8 1/2. It deals with the creation of a movie.

man bites dog is a movie about shooting a documnetary but you need a taste in dark humor to really appreciate it. also, if mutilated bodies disturb you, stay away.

Croupier (1998)- From IMDB: An aspiring writer is hired as a croupier at a casino, where he realizes that his life as a croupier would make a great novel.

Thanks for the list so far guys. I've seen a few of them, and a few are either totally new to me or I knew about the flick but just didn't really know what it was about.

Where exactly can you buy the R2 Hunger DVD?
