DVD Talk Forum - Movie Name Help! Will bug me all day long.

For the life of me I cannot remember (or find) the name of this movie.
About the film:
Documentary (uses real footage)
Set to music
About war, death, genocide, human emotion, etc.
I believe it was made in the 80's and was part of a series of 3.
All of the movie names in the series are taken from, as far as I can remember, Native American words.
For some reason I keep thinking the name of one of them is "Nosferatu", which I know is not it, but it sounds like it or close to it.
Some scenes are like a psychedelic kaleidoscope.

That’s about all I can remember about it. I know someone will immediately know the name and I will kick myself for not knowing it.
