Can anyone help me with some suggestions

I am having to write a paper on Violence (Both physical and mental) against women in movies. I need to be able to show some clips as part of the presentation i am going to be giving on this. I have thought of a few that come immediately to mind.....Thelma and Louise, True Romance, Silence of the Lambs.....but need some help finding some more examples. If anyone can provide any suggestions it would really help. Thanks.

Thanks for the suggestions. I am trying to look at more mainstream movies that have this content rather than exploitation movies. The newer the movie the better.

Most recent movies nowdays will not have the content that you are looking for, so you may be required to settle for the older films.

Heavy  for A History of Violence. Serious psychological elements at work concentrated around Tom's wife that manipulate her reactions/emotions.

Haha, I overlooked his post too. I was scrolling through thinking, "Nobody? Nobody? Am I really going to be the first one to mention this movie? In fact, that could be my post. 'Am I really the first person to mention Irreversible?' Oh, there it is."

Thriller: A Cruel Picture

very violent film and very graphic in terms of sex, so be warned.

But not the opening seen, unless his paper is looking to justify violence against women. :)

That is one that I would say also, one of the most powerful movies I have ever seen.
