Solid opening on V for Venetta (curious if the studio snuck the intake from the Thursday night previews in anywhere). No big surprises elsewhere, nice to see Hills Have Eyes avoid the 50% or higher plague of most torture flicks. Shaggy Dog continues to prove even mediocre movies do well when they're family oriented.

Depends. If it was a Thursday midnight showing, it was techically Friday so it should be a part of the weekend take.

Some did 10pm showings -- others did midnight -- depending on chain and city.

Regardless, Warner probably included it in Friday's take.
