Steven Spielberg - "Always" is the only film of his that's actually bored me. Even his other mediocre films were able to capture my attention throughout.

Alfred Hitchcock - "Secret Agent" is a really weird, slightly pointless and ultimately very disappointing film.

Tim Burton - "Planet of the Apes" is just a complete mess.

Billy Wilder - "Irma la Douce"

I just find it to be the most boring out of Steven's films. It's my personal disfavorite of his, but it'd be too easy to go with 1941 or The Lost World. But then again, I did enjoy Always.

The list in post #33 looks like a joke.

Tobey Maguire's worst movie is Spiderman 2?

Cameron's is Titanic?

Apparantely, you've only watched around 2 movies of each person listed.

The thing is, a great director or actor's worst movie can still be very good. So I've noted my star ratings (on a scale of four) next to my choices to give some perspective.

Stanley Kubrick - Fear and Desire *1/2
Martin Scorsese - New York New York **1/2
David Lynch - Dune ***1/2
Werner Herzog - Cobra Verde ***
Steven Spielberg - "Kick the Can" ** (Though Twilight Zone the Movie would merit *** overall for the Dante and Miller segments)
