Wow...I thought it was THE best ending of all the 80s teen movies. It couldn't have been more realistic. I always recommend this movie to friends simply because of the great ending. Loved loved loved the ending!

Summer Rental was an awesome movie, but the ending was incredibly cheesy.

Firewall also was a decent movie, but the ending was really cheesy.
Spoiler:
I would have loved to see the British guy kill Harrison's family at the end. Instead of the dog running to meet his family in the last scene, I would have loved to see the British guy come walk over the hill with a bloody knife.

This is what made the movie a hit in my eyes. It really humanized him to me and I didn't mind it so much. And he does go on one more rampage after this. I think this was some of Stallone's best acting(along with Copland).

Good Will Hunting - The "Hey...this movie's almost hitting two hours and we haven't started to cure the kid" movie. So what better than to introduce some out of left field theory for his problems and...poof...you're better!

No Way Out - I know some people love the ending, but I was just hit by how incredibly idiotic it was.

The Contender (2000) - A tight political thriller with a great cast comes to a screeching halt with a phony, "slow clap" Hollywood ending. Everything else about it was pretty decent, though.

A promising movie, which completely falls to pieces with a made-for-Lifetime TV ending.

I always really hated the ending for The Jackal

Bruce Willis is this bad ass hit man who even the government knows virtually nothing about. Richard Gere is a convicted felon. The whole movie builds towards the assassination attempt of a character. The entire government thinks gonna be an attempt on Person A. Then at the very last minute Richard Gere decides the hit man's target is actually Person B based on just a "hunch" and gets the government to believe him and save the day at the last second.

Completely agree about High Tension, It didn't need the ending they gave it.

As for Kill Bill 2, I couldn't disagree more. The whole mess started when she broke his heart and the whole mess ends with her breaking his heart one last time. I thought the ending was brilliant.
