JFK & RFK should ALWAYS be played by Bruce Greenwood and Steven Culp

I just saw Thirteen Days and was proud to have watched it with my wife - mainly because most other Kennedy biopics are awful corny and dated. This 2000 film was crisp, dramatic, and very well acted, and frankly I think it would be a great idea to do more films about the Kennedy's with Bruce Greenwood (JFK) and Steven Culp (RFK) in those roles.

I kinda liked the guy Oliver Stone picked to play JFK in JFK:)

i agree. i was surprised at how much i enjoyed this film and thought Bruce was especially great and did so much justice to such a revered, great man.

I'm very surprised the greenwood essentially faded into obscurity after that role, I expected that to be a breakout role for him, and yet he's done next to nothing of note after it, or maybe he has and I haven't seen it.

He's done quite a bit of stuff since, just not a lot of leading man stuff. I actually met him once at a friend's birthday party and he is hilarious; maybe he should get into comedy roles instead.

I won't be rude in posting the IMDB listing of his, but he's been pretty much been accepting smaller roles - as to why, I don't know

a little OT, but Dylan Baker gave the best performance of the film as Robert McNamara.

IMHO Costner's accent was a bit distracting in 'Thirteen Days', other than that, a very good film.
