I know this would be solely based on your personal opinion, but I wish to hear what ending or plot of movies would you change?
It would be obvious that replies would include major spoilers.
Thanks!!!

I've been waiting for a thread like this.......War of the Worlds (2005). I really enjoyed the first 2/3 or so of the movie (basically until the end of the farmhouse segment). I thought it went downhill from there but I could have made peace with it if it weren't for the very last bit.....
I haven't disliked the ending of a film that much in a long while, and it really undermined the entire experience for me.

The end of The Iron Giant. A beautiful and poignant sacrifice, kiddiefied with a "don't worry folks, he's okay!" ending.
I usually stop the movie early.

I'll go with War of the Worlds, too.
Oh, and Signs.

Appreciate all your thoughts but I was kind of hoping that aside from constructively criticizing the plot or ending, you could provide your own take or opinion as to what should've have happened next or what would be a better option in ending the film.

For Signs, I never found the ending bothersome. Night spent a lot of time explaining why things were as they were, and really they left for the same reasons in WotW...not because we necessarily beat them, but because of their own misunderstanding of the environment.
As for what ending I would change, Minority Report. Solid film, but that ending just saps it up way too much, Anderton's character always annoyed me as a particularly selfish man who is redeemed as good in the end...but never really does much to deserve that redemption. There are theories of alternate readings of the ending, but I don't think that was the intention...it doesn't really work. Plus the ending postscript the script had definately should've been on the film.

War of the Worlds
Spoiler:
That was my only gripe about the ending.
But seriously, the only one that comes to mind for me is:
The Truman Show
The whole movie is about Truman, yet the last shot of the film is of the female love interest? Typical, "we can't leave the audience to make up their own mind" mentality. They had the perfect ending 30 seconds prior and ruined it. Should have ended with:

"The Descent" for me. I am not sure exactly how best to end it, but I do know that closing sequence wasn't it. The movie scared the hell out of me and I loved it, but that ending left me with a bad taste in my mouth.

No mention of Shawshank yet? I know I would like to have seen the movie end with Red on the bus and a simple voiceover.
Tony & Maria, together.
Of course, that would mess up the whole movie but I could fill an Olympic swimming pool with all the tears I've shed over that.

Star Wars prequels. Kill TPM, tell some of that plot in flash backs in the first movie which basically covers up through AOTC, and spend the last two movies on doing a more detailed job on Anakins fall to the dark side.
