The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada

As soon as I had heard that this movie is reminiscent of Peckinpah's Bring Me the Head of Alfredo Garcia I've been eagerly anticipating it.

It stars (and is directed by) Tommy Lee Jones and opens today.

Ebert's 4-star review.

None of my theaters got this, but one of them will soon. I'm very interested in this film. Entertainment Weekly gave it a C, but I'll still check it out.

It's a terrific movie. The very beginning seemed a little slow to me, but you are quickly caught up in the situation and its possibilities. Definitely one to catch!

I really want to see this but I can't seem to find any theaters near me that are playing it. :(
