I don't know where that info on Stuntman Mike being a SDCC exclusive came from but it's false. Just 4 days ago NECA announced the final SDCC exclusive lineup on their website and it's Vampire Jack from "The Nightmare Before Christmas", Battle Leonidas from "300" and Harry Potter & Hedwig from "The Order of the Phoenix".
No mention of Stuntman Mike. As a matter of fact, aside from this very thread I can't find a single source claiming that it ever was a SDCC exclusive so I don't know where the OP came up with it.
Anyways, for some reason Tarantino wanted a single Stuntman Mike figure from "Death Proof" in the 12" scale as opposed to the 6" scale of the "Planet Terror" line (not to mention other RR and QT NECA lines like "Kill Bill", "Reservoir Dogs" and "Sin City") but there are rumors that a 6" scale version will come out in a Cult Classics Hall of Fame line.
Cult Classics Hall of Fame is a line that releases figures that are primarily based on existing figures with slight modifications as opposed to a full-blown Cult Classics line which usually features an all-new figure.
In any case, you can preorder the 12" version at several websites.

I believe the company that's making these is called Bif Bang Pow! Found them at this link:

Says they should be out in November.
