I really like the Blade banner. Good choices about everything else you've got.

DVDsAreMyLIFE 02-19-07 12:18 AM

Anyone know when the Tremors one is being released? I thought it was end of 2006 but it looks like Feb 07?

MartinBlank 02-19-07 01:37 AM

Where did you find those storage racks? They're freakin' sweet!

I've been looking for something like that forever. Tall enough not to fall over, yet only deep enough for movies.

RyoHazuki 02-19-07 01:46 PM

They've posted pics for the 2nd wave of Lost figures over at Spawn.com

The Mr. Eko was is pretty good but that Jin one is AWESOME!

Sawyer and Sun are just alright. Pretty good likeness but not that interesting.

I've decided not to collect the Lost figures but if I did, I'd be all over that Jin figure.

The LOST figures have been very disappointing. From Series 1, only Locke was worthy of a purchase. Looks like only Eko from this series. MCF is doing a terrible job at capturing the actor's likenesses in this series.

But for the price you are paying per figure, they are pretty damn good I think.

MasterofDVD 02-19-07 03:35 PM

I think the Lost figures are a bit high priced and I would rather have cheaper figures without the little voice box crap. I still plan on getting them all no matter what. I am also glad they are making fewer figures with each series. Makes the hit to the wallet a little easier.

I disagree. Most the MCF sports lineup is $7.99 and I think they are much higher quality.

What are you guys using to hold your figures and such? I am looking for some decent glass shelves or cases.

I came across this a few months back and had my girlfriend get it for me for my birthday. Not a figure, obviously, but a pretty cool little piece.

retihsuhnt 02-20-07 12:53 PM

That sir is... AWESOME!

Is that a part of the 3D poster series?

I don't know that much about the 3D posters, but I believe it's a different series than the others posted in this thread. This is by Code 3 Collectibles.

Here's the website. They also have Star Wars, LOTR, and Army of Darkness.

If you're looking for the Animal House one, I actually got it on Amazon (cheaper, too). I don't see it on there now, but there's usually some available on eBay (that's actually where I copied the pic from). Just google it and you should be able to find one.

Edit: I found one on shop.com. It appears to be in stock, and for $39.99.

wish i could be of some help, but i don't really have any good space to display mine at the time, so they are still in the boxes/cases.

Did they list prices for these yet?

RichardW 02-24-07 05:41 PM

Maul is $280, Lord of Darkness is $350 and Alien 3 is $900. These will be cheaper if ordered from an online retailer instead of directly from Sideshow.

Sessa17 02-24-07 06:16 PM

Here are some pics of the newest 3D-movie posters since people seem to dig them here. I know I've been diggin' the hell out of them so far.

Those images are not showing up.

900 for a figure from Alien 3? I'd be singing a different tune if it was from the first or second film.

GuruTwo 02-24-07 11:29 PM

The much crappier nature of "Alien Resurrection" and the mind-blowing suckitude of "AvP' has started to make "Alien3" look much better, plus that longer cut has also converted a lot of haters.

Negative opinion of the movie aside there's also obviously a market for the film's specific "Alien" design, especially since it was done by HR Giger himself.

Giantrobo 02-25-07 07:48 AM

Damn. I have to have all things "Darkness" but $350 out of my range. :(
