I'm happy to say my LOST figures are finally entering the shipping process. I was getting more than a little concerned. Now if only I could get a shipping confirmation on my Ash NECA figure I would be ecstatic.

Thank you sir. |
Going tonight to pick up the Alien 3D Poster. Once I have all three up on my wall, I'll take pictures.

You've got a great collection of figures going there. I especially like the Koto Star Wars figures.

May have been mentioned in another thread, but here are the official figurines for Spiderman 3. Who else thinks that Peter Parker needs some dental work?

The first figure I had was the 18" Edward Scissorhands that I found at a Tower Records store in Nashville about 3 years ago for $20. After Edward, I went through a Star Wars Unleashed faze as you can see. But then I discovered the beauty and awesomeness of larger scale figures and have been scouring the web for Koto figures and just about anything around those sizes. Of course price is playing a big part. Gentle Giant and Attakus make some great figures but they are out of my price range. Question to all you guys out there, can you help me track down a fully painted version of a couple of models from Batman Returns? Specifically the Horizon, Tsukuda, or Billiken versions. These are way out of production and you can find a few on ebay but they are all unpainted. Heres a few pics of what I am talking about. http://i78.photobucket.com/albums/j1...3177/CV126.jpg http://i78.photobucket.com/albums/j1...3177/CV101.jpg http://i78.photobucket.com/albums/j1...uskbatman3.jpg |
For all of you that are into McFarlane's 3D posters...he announced a new one for May 2007: Rocky.
|
Just a proto-type so I hope they can detail it a bit better so Kiefer doesn't look like a cross between Ah-nold and Bruce Willis.

Bob & Tom were discussing the 24 one the other day. Looks pretty cool.

enderwiggin, love your statues! I presume the 12 inch Boba Fett and the Biker Scout are Kotos. I want them 2, but I just need to decide on a third, was thonking of the kneeling down clone trooper. I think that would be a nice collection.
I have always loved that Rocketeer model, always loved the film aswell! I have always said that and Dick Tracey should be re-released as apart of Beuna Vistas' "VISTA" range. I believe they fit the criteria perfectly. |

Ha! The first thing I thought when I saw that collection was that the person must not have any cats. I swear, no matter how high I put my collectibles, they find a way to get up there and bat them down... |
I bought both these 1:1 busts, then paid to get them painted. Here's the final result:

I loathe McFarlane's inclusion of backdrops with it's figures. I would've gotten some of the Lost and 24 figs if they were the lower-priced single figures.. less space and the packaging looks better.
Will wait and see what the final Jack Baur figures look like though... |
