I saw the whole Rocky series (about 5 different toys) at Toy's 'R' Us. I'm guessing most toy stores sell them though.

I'm happy to say my LOST figures are finally entering the shipping process. I was getting more than a little concerned. Now if only I could get a shipping confirmation on my Ash NECA figure I would be ecstatic.

Thank you sir.

Going tonight to pick up the Alien 3D Poster. Once I have all three up on my wall, I'll take pictures.

Heres my meager collection so far.

You've got a great collection of figures going there. I especially like the Koto Star Wars figures.

GIjon213 01-19-07 08:27 AM

May have been mentioned in another thread, but here are the official figurines for Spiderman 3. Who else thinks that Peter Parker needs some dental work?

Thanks. It's been a slow buildup process.

The first figure I had was the 18" Edward Scissorhands that I found at a Tower Records store in Nashville about 3 years ago for $20. After Edward, I went through a Star Wars Unleashed faze as you can see.

But then I discovered the beauty and awesomeness of larger scale figures and have been scouring the web for Koto figures and just about anything around those sizes. Of course price is playing a big part. Gentle Giant and Attakus make some great figures but they are out of my price range.

Question to all you guys out there, can you help me track down a fully painted version of a couple of models from Batman Returns? Specifically the Horizon, Tsukuda, or Billiken versions. These are way out of production and you can find a few on ebay but they are all unpainted. Heres a few pics of what I am talking about.

For all of you that are into McFarlane's 3D posters...he announced a new one for May 2007: Rocky.

devilshalo 01-19-07 12:00 PM

Just a proto-type so I hope they can detail it a bit better so Kiefer doesn't look like a cross between Ah-nold and Bruce Willis.

I'm not a huge Rocky fan but after so many people commenting on my Jaws poster I think I may pick up the Rocky one next. The horror ones that are out now are just too "busy" looking. Rocky is simple but looks very cool.

Michael Corvin 01-19-07 12:33 PM

Bob & Tom were discussing the 24 one the other day. Looks pretty cool.

jdslater1 01-19-07 04:02 PM

enderwiggin, love your statues! I presume the 12 inch Boba Fett and the Biker Scout are Kotos. I want them 2, but I just need to decide on a third, was thonking of the kneeling down clone trooper. I think that would be a nice collection.
I have always loved that Rocketeer model, always loved the film aswell!
I have always said that and Dick Tracey should be re-released as apart of Beuna Vistas' "VISTA" range. I believe they fit the criteria perfectly.

Does anyone know a place where I can get an inexpensive glass case??

You should get this from Ikea.

Ha! The first thing I thought when I saw that collection was that the person must not have any cats. I swear, no matter how high I put my collectibles, they find a way to get up there and bat them down...

PacMan2006 01-19-07 09:22 PM

I bought both these 1:1 busts, then paid to get them painted. Here's the final result:

I have that case for my Matrix, Hellboy, X-Files and View Askew statues. It's nice but I need another one already. I'm afraid to put my favorite statues on top because I fear they will come crashing down onto everything else.

Dude...thats EXACTLY how I have my posters. Like EXACTLY!

Still waiting for Nightmare... to come out.

I used to have Jaws on the left and Friday the 13th on the right because I couldn't get my hands on the Alien one. Then I finally got it and put it in the middle, and I thought it looked funky, because the FT13th one is thinner, so I rearranged them. I think the Nightmare on Elm Street one is coming out on the 6th of February. Can't wait :)

That's not Peter who needs the dental work.

Artman 01-20-07 01:44 PM

I loathe McFarlane's inclusion of backdrops with it's figures. I would've gotten some of the Lost and 24 figs if they were the lower-priced single figures.. less space and the packaging looks better.

Will wait and see what the final Jack Baur figures look like though...

Yeah, I think the hulk statue would be an issue with that case - the other ones he has can go in there though! Danged cats!!
