Want a 30" puppet? :)

Have to get that Shaun of the Dead figure!

no pics yet, but I like the ones mentioned.

The Saw announcement surprised me, because the Puppet was already announced as being part of SOTA's upcoming "Now Playing" lineup (which is a competitor to Cult Classics).

Excited that someone finally got Lector. Neca is also going to do a 18" version of Hannibal, which is totally mine.

Out of curiosity (and someone in this thread will proboly know) ive got a bunch of those old 3"-4" (or so) Kenner Star Wars figures (around 20-25) and the orignal collectibal box for them... Any chance that they're worth selling?

BuddyRevell 02-17-06 12:11 PM

Upload some pics. Can't tell you anything without knowing which ones you have and what condition their in.

BuddyRevell 02-17-06 12:18 PM

I was at Wonder Con and snapped some pics of this Dropship. They wanted 150 for the ship and 50 for the APC. Decided against it because my girlfriend is bringing one back for me from Japan. Paid 150 with the APC included.

The ramp comes down and it holds the APC! Also the wings unfold just like in the movie. Can't wait to get this!

Oh wow, that 30" puppet looks awesome. I think I am going to have to get that for sure. I already know where to put it. Darn you I mean thank you for showing me that.

GoldenJCJ 04-02-06 10:55 PM

I just picked up Neca's John McClane and T2 endoskeleton

I'm still considering whether I should get the 18" Jason Voorhees or not.

I'm all over NECA's
Hannibal Lector and medieval Ash

Kudama 04-03-06 01:47 PM

I’m really fond of the Sideshow Kroenen figures and mask that I got.

I’m surprised that they haven’t announced a V for Vendetta figure. I’d buy that one up in a second.

Who knows? They haven’t announced their convention exclusives yet. Maybe there’s still some hope.

Mr. Cinema 04-22-06 12:59 PM

My local Suncoast was not on the list of stores closing. I'm thinking of heading to the mall to look for some figures. Anyone been by there lately to see if any where on clearance. Last time I was there, they had the 19" Jason for around $35. I want to get that one. I think they also had one of the Robocops.

The Bram Stoker's Dracula box set has been released. I would like to get that one as well. I used to collect the smaller ones, but I think I'm going to stricly buy the large figures and boxed sets.

GoldenJCJ 04-22-06 01:47 PM

I don't know about Suncoast, but I picked up a 12" "Brain" Gremlin from one of the closing Sam Goody stores. I didn't pick them up but they also had some of the Sin City and Family Guy figures.

DVDho78DTS 07-18-06 03:46 PM

T2 fans...

I might pre-order my first bust ever since this one looks very good - http://www.sideshowtoy.com/mas_asset.../8334-QTVR.mov

They also will have a 20 inch and 60 inch Hunter Killer prop - http://www.sideshowtoy.com/behindtheshow/?page_id=1723

devilshalo 07-18-06 04:09 PM

Nothing for me as far as exclusives from Comic Con this year. I end up fleaBaying them anyways.

TomOpus 07-18-06 06:31 PM

I have a few exclusives in mind. I want to see 'em in person first.

Eric D. 07-18-06 09:11 PM

The only Sideshow thing that I've orderd was this. Still waiting for it to ship though.

http://www.sideshowtoy.com/mas_asset...ress06-001.jpg

MrStayPuft 07-19-06 10:33 PM

Wow, they just announced a whole bunch of new figures. Lots of 12 inch Star Wars figures including Jabba, and more Life Size Busts. My favorite was Yoda Life-Size bust, but imagine how much that is going to cost. Does anyone know if these are Con exclusives only, or can anyone order these?

I've ordered a whole bunch from Sideshow already, I think I'm addicted. I have these all on order:

Jaws Marquette
Jigsaw 28 inch puppet
Darth Maul 12 inch
Freddy Kruger (from Dream Warriors) 12 inch
RoboCop 12 inch
Chopper Predator (from AVP) 14 inch
Elder Predator (from AVP) 14 inch
Scarface final battle 12 inch
Zombie 12 inch

I already have in my Celtic and Scar Predators too from previous orders.

Has anyone seen those Star Wars Transformers? Are those new?

Slave 1 <-> Boba Fett
Palpatine <-> Imperial Shuttle(IIRC)

...and so on for other characters.

JMcCraw 07-21-06 09:40 AM

So Indy is "pending approval"? Is there an estimated MSRP? I want that...

Both are pending approval. Chances are they won't be for sale until next year.

Sparrow is suppose to cost $1500. Not sure about Indy.

PopcornTreeCt 07-21-06 07:22 PM

I want that Indy. I'm gonna start saving up.

DRG 07-30-06 07:47 PM

Those Cinemaquettes are amazing. I thought their Arnie Terminator was flawless, but they've really outdone themselves.

Their Aragorn, unfortunately, is their first "off" likeness, which is a killer considering how expensive those things are.
http://www.rebelscum.com/sdcc06/sdcc...e/IMG_0920.JPG

I think the problem is it looks more like the gaunter, slightly older History of Violence Viggo.

This angle is really bad:
http://www.rebelscum.com/sdcc06/sdcc...e/IMG_0921.JPG
That one reminds me of the Undertaker from WWE. Contrast to the Indy and Jack Sparrow, where they look incredible from every angle.

A gallery with many shots of all of them:
http://www.rebelscum.com/sdcc06/sdcc...te/default.asp

NitroJMS 07-30-06 07:55 PM

That Aragorn looks more like Peter Stormare.

GoldenJCJ 07-30-06 10:00 PM

Wow, the Indy and Jack Sparrow cinemaquettes look amazing! (IMO Jack Sparrow looks the best)

$1500 is pretty steep but if I had the extra money to through around they would be mine.

I can't tell if it's just the angle or if Indy's nose is kinda fucked up.

Maybe they used an old mold from an Owen Wilson figure? ;)

Giantrobo 07-31-06 09:22 AM

They are crap. I bought one, and nearly broke it 10 minutes after opening the package. Cheap POS. Returned it.

Harrison Ford has a fucked up nose. Always has. But I see what you are looking at. Not sure. He needs more stubble.

Sparrow looks amazing.

Mercury&Solace 08-02-06 04:05 AM

Loving the Indy, a must cop.

I bought that one (green hulk) for my boyfriend! We have to put it in a case before my kitty finds spideys fingers! (he a chewer)

Whoah! Lucky guy. If you ever need a new one let me know. ;)

ShagMan 08-08-06 03:07 PM

I have the Aliens dropshop/APC combo, it's DEFINITELY worth the money, it's mostly die-cast and has lots of moving parts. The cannon on the APC even rotates and slides back on it's track!

I am also waiting on the Jaws maquette to show up as well.

danicus007 08-10-06 03:15 PM

Does anyone know where figure stands can be purchased? For instance I have a Hartigan Sin City figure, but it doesn't come with a base. I have several other figures that also don't come with a base. They have holes in the feet but I don't know if they are all a standard size hole. I bought some stands for 3 1/4 Star Wars figures but can't seem to find any larger size bases. Thanks.

PopcornTreeCt 08-10-06 05:52 PM

I use my old McFarlane Crow base for Hartigan. McFarlane still sells bases, I think, you could try them. Try eBay too, they seem to work on NECA figures as well.

Nice! I would prefer Kevin Bacon and/or Fred Ward but I guess Michael Gross is more the series regular.
