You won't be able to, Sideshow has a rather odd gift card policy in that you only can use gift cards on select products. There's a list on the right hand side of this page:
http://www.sideshowtoy.com/giftcard/ I used my $50 gift card on this, which will go nicely with my Green Goblin LSB and Venom LSB on preorder: http://www.sideshowtoy.com/mas_asset...ress02-001.jpg |
Did anyone else preorder the Cloverfield figure?

I'll admit that I'm completely new to the movie action figure world, but I can't get over how real these look. How much would these typically go for in a store (assuming they aren't only sold online)?

I don't think those are action figures. I think they are statues and they probably going to run around $300.
|
They look pretty amazing but I don't like the Joker's face. His mouth should be smiling or laughing.
|
I'm not big on action figures; I do own a few though (Lobster Johnson, Ghost of Lobster Johnson, WALL-E, Batman-Joker-Scarecrow, V, Hellboy)...but I will be getting these the moment they are available (and I may even pre-order them):

They typically run anywhere from $140-$170 from various retailers on ebay and such. DC Comics is importing the TDK Batman, Both Jokers (Reg and Bank Robber) and the Vehicles so the MSRP should be on the lower end at your LCS. |

Here are the head sculpts: http://www.enterbay.com/blog/wp-cont...08/09/24jp.jpg |

Damn.... those are tempting. Would be sweet if they did Sam/Dean from Supernatural. |
The 24 figs will be $150, according to the Enterbay site.

Speaking of Koto here are pics of their Joke statue. I like the 2nd version better, but still a little disappointed.

It looks as if the Cloverfield figure has been delayed again until the middle of January. What gives? They say that it is due to demand. Well ship to those who ordered first and then ship out as they come in to those who ordered on later dates. I preordered mine the first day it went up for order. Hasbro really needs to get its shit together here or pass the next project on to a company that can handle it.
|
Cloverfield figure delayed again until mid January. That will be 1 year from when the pre-order went up that this thing is supposed to ship. You could build a stadium in less time.
|
I had heard that the Cloverfield monster was cancelled. Far to pricey a figure to produce, and not enough demand to justify it.
|
^ Well, maybe more people (like myself) would have ordered it if it didn't look like shit.

I guess enough people ordered it that they're having a hard time fulfilling the demand. I wonder what the demand really is?

I finally received my Cloverfield figure yesterday. I'll try to get some pics added. Here's a link to a page where someone else posted pictures of Clover. Check them out!
