I actually had to take mine back to the store I bought it from to exchange for another one, because one of the attachments on the underside of the ship was semi-broken. The new one I got looks good though.

Has anyone seen the Stan Lee "Legends" action figure of Stan The Man himself in stores? I saw that it was supposed to be released in July but have not seen it in any stores. I really wanted to pick one of those up.

thegame370 08-17-07 09:56 AM

YES! Next month!

I believe that was a Convention Exclusive (maybe just San Diego Comic Con). I picked it up and think its a pretty great figure. Can't believe it took this long to get the guy in plastic.

You have to e-mail the guy and he will send you a list of everything he makes to order and his prices. He is legit.

Just picked up the Star Wars ARC Trooper Heavy Gunner Unleashed figure. A bit pricey for a hunk of plastic, but I'm a sucker for Star Wars + exclusive. Also, this will be my 6th 7" scale unleashed figure. Already have EPV and EPIII Vader, General Grevious, Stormtrooper, and EPVI Luke. Now if I can only find Unleashed Boba Fett.

That's a pretty sweet looking Clonetrooper there.

You can get Boba Fett Unleashed pretty dirt cheap these days on eBay. Before they were re-released at Target, they went for $75+ on eBay.

Thought I would attempt to revive this thread.

Anyone else picking this one up?

No. I'm not really into the doll-type figures... if Neca made a cool one I'd get it in a second.

Haven't really bought any figures for awhile... I think I'm pretty much done with that phase to be honest. I've got eight 18" figures, a handful of 12", and a couple boxes of 6". I just don't have room, money or the passion for them anymore. There's a select few that I'd pick up if they made em, but outside of that I'll just enjoy what I have.

Still thinking about it. Didn't care that Sideshow jacked up the price on their 12 inch figures. Normally they retail for $49-59.

This one is $89.

I think I'm holding out for a decent Premium Format Figure now that Cinemaquette (another collectibles company) has pretty much fucked up the likeness on their really really expensive Indy statue.

candyrocket786 03-15-08 07:28 PM

Yea it sucks that they jacked up the prices but I am an Indy fanboy and have to get it. Sideshow said they are gonna so a premium format and a 1:1 scale bust. They are also gonna be doing different characters eventually.

MrStayPuft 03-15-08 10:56 PM

Here's some Dark Knight collectibles, I know I'll be buying both Joker bust and figure:

I also just bought these two, JP is one of my favorite films, and I missed out on the first Hellboy Samaritan replica.

Who is making the Dark Knight ones? I was thinking about purchasing the JP one but I have too many other star wars ones I want, plus I am waiting on more Indy figures.

MasterofDVD 03-16-08 04:02 AM

The Indy figure is cool but so many of their figures seem to fall show when it comes to likenesses. Indy is certainly a much better effort than I have seen recently. As much as I wanted to get their X-Files ones I honestly thought they looked like shit. I have The Knights, Patsy and the Bridgekeeper that they did from Monty Python's Holy Grail and when new people see my toy room they ALWAYS comment on them so they were well worth the money.

The Samaritan looks fucking amazing. I am still kicking myself for not getting the replica they made of that from the first film.

Wolf359 03-16-08 12:01 PM

I've got mine ordered. I was on the fence because of the price but after I saw the video I had to have it. Click on "Backstage Pass"

Yea there X-files ones are awful. The only one I like is Scully in the doctors outfit. I think a lot of there new stuff is some of the best around for the price now. I still love most of there Star Wars line.
