No business should be making money like that. It just doesnt seem right. It reminds me of the street peddlers out by ground zero selling their 9/11 books with photos and such...profiting off the tragedy.

If people have a problem with this movie, then they won't go and lay down their money to see it.

Its not like people are stupid. We all realize that companies make movies to make money. If everyone agreed with you, then no one would go and see the movie.

Universal feels that enough people will want to see it to justify the cost.

And as far as selling books by ground zero, thats just smart business. Again, no one is twisting peoples arms to buy the books. If its classless, then people wont buy them and they would go out of business.

Hogwash! Creating an account on a forum to give a list of links and theories on 9/11 in an unrelated thread is the very definition of pushing an agenda.

That site is simply full of crap. Full of logic errors.

One example: According to the site, the pilots had to be in on the attacks. How else could the hijackers get "so lucky" by taking over 4 jetliners "with no effective resistance"?

But this ignores a simple fact: if the pilots were involved in this supposed conspiracy, then they could simply fly the planes wherever they wanted to! Forget hijackers.

Another example:

Four jetliners were taken over with no effective resistance.
Yea, because that's what they are trained to do in a hijacking. Cooperate. Doesn't prove any conspiracy. Arm the pilots and we'll see some effective resistance.

Ironically, this movie refutes this very point. There was resistence on 93 once the people on board knew what was going to happen. If there was none, then this plane would have hit the Capitol Building or White House. But that doesn't fit in well with the rest of the conspiracy very well.

Anyway, that site is the very reason that this movie needs to be seen.

I never knew that there was such a huge following to this 9/11 "Coverup"

Sadly, I could see these same people spending their entire lives obsessed with finding out the "truth", much like with the JFK assassination.

It's not like I really need to be "reminded" of it.
I feel the same way. I heard a radio ad yesterday and got teary-eyed. I will see this movie one day, but when I want to on DVD. Just don't really feel the need to see this right now.

mrgerbik, I really feel sad for people like you who are so willing to believe such inane garbage.
