Coachella: The Film

Experience it for the first time...or in a whole new way!

Coachella features two-hours of highlights from the previous
six years of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.

Check it out on January 24th at theatres in your area. You can purchase
tickets online at bigscreenconcerts.com or in person at select theatres on Friday, January 6th. Click here for a list of local theatres.

Tickets are $10 advance or $12.50 day of event. No refunds.
This film contains language that may not be suitable for younger audiences.

And you also have the chance to go to the PREMIERE of Coachella, taking
place on Thursday, January 19th at the Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles.
A very limited number of tickets for this event will go on sale Saturday,
January 14th at 10am through Ticketmaster. Stay tuned for more details.

This is probably the first "Regal Big Screen Event" I've been tempted to see.

Ditto. Forgive me if this was stated on the website but is this going to be in the theater only, or will this be released on DVD. The theater is pretty far away and hard to get to with this broken femur of mine.

No mention. I could imagine it getting a dvd treatment though.

$12.50 tickets day in advance, my ass. I paid $10 for tickets five minutes prior to showtime via the Fandango kiosk inside my theater.

I enjoyed it. Would've ditched the techno footage, but that's just my honest opinion (because it's not fucking enjoyable to watch people DJ).

oh I don't know, the segments weren't full length performances, the editing of The Chemicals Bros. and The Crystal Method were essential to the festival's key commitment to include and book DJ's and dance bands.

on a technical note - these Regal Big Screen Events - (they aren't 35mm film), are they satellite feeds to the theatre or are they (prototype HiDef) DVD presentations?

However, they could've done the editing of The Chemical Brothers, Crystal Method, Tiesto, and so on and so on in just one segment. They didn't need to spread it across the entire film.

Regal Big Screen Events, I believe, are satelite feeds.

Is there any site that lists all the songs that were played?
