For good or bad, the movie that when the end credits roll you just get this overwhelming feeling that I have just seen an incredible or outright chilling movie again...

Fo me: "Star Wars" Episodes IV through VI. every time the end credits immediately go to the director and John Williams score trumpets loud i get chills because i simply cannot believe the original was made in 1977 and then 80 and 83. They were so ahead of their time and have not been rivaled since. i feel that exact same way each and every time i see those 3 films! it is such a great feeling...

Ending of The Karate Kid. That proud look on Miyagi's face is just classic. (may he rest in peace)

Superman grabbing Lois Lane out of the air and then catching the helicopter with one hand. The John Williams music is a major factor why I always get chills during that scene.

Speaking of the Karate Kid, I get chills during the montage of Daniel training set to that pan flute after he puts a drunk Miyagi to sleep.

i forgot one..."Rocky II"
just after Adrienne wakes from her coma, the baby comes in, everyone is drinking champagne and happy and Adrienne goes to Rocky..."Win! Win!" (geez, i get chills even writing that!)

but then there is a little hiccup where Rock is putting the baby down and then the famous training montage scene. i always thought that hiccup was so misplaced and would have been even more glorious to go into the training montage right from win, win.

only hard part about that scene now is that the girl in that scene plays Marissa on "the O.C."

Wong Kar Wai's Fallen Angels...still my favorite movie of all time.

Takeshi Kaneshiro's character is watching a video recording of his father who died recently. With a bittersweet Chinese song in the background, this scene not only gives me the chills but tears me up as well.

Locker room prayer (Davey and Goliath, etc.) and speech before big game at the end of "Hoosiers."

Last 30 minutes of "Unforgiven" (starts with scene with Will Munny and kid under the big tree, waiting for their dough) has me in chills and on the edge of my seat at every viewing ("Who killed Ned!?! Ned didn't kill nobody!").

Henry: A Portrait of a Serial Killer without a doubt! This movie gave me the heebie jeebies, and that is very unusual because, I've have seen many thrillers, horror, suspense films, and no movie of this genre has ever effect me the way this one did.

The final scene in Star Wars Episode III gave me probably the biggest chills ever in the movie theater.

The scene that consistantly does it for me is from the Sixth Sense
Spoiler:
when the ring drops on the floor.

The whole Poltergeist trilogy. But especially part II, where Kane is stalking Carol Anne.

...some not mentioned yet:
Lord Of The Rings ROTK (Shelob's lair & the end)
Reservoir Dogs (Larry stop pointing that f*cking gun at my dad!)
Shawshank Redemption (the revelation and the very end)
Signs (whole movie)
Usual Suspects (and like that... he's gone... DUNN!)

...that's all I can think of for the moment.

That's exactly what I thought when seeing this thread. With Gorecki's Symphony of Sorrows playing in the background it's very moving.

also:

The Thin Red Line - the soldiers attack the Japanese camp with Zimmer's Journey to the Line playing. Amazing stuff.

Cinema Paradiso (Theatrical Cut) - Toto returns to the theatre after all those years and plays the film with the kissing montage that Alfredo put together. Very beautiful.

The Straight Story - Alvin finally arrives at his brothers house and he realizes that Alvin rode all the way in his lawnmower to see him... they sit and look up at the stars.

The Sea Inside - Ramon dreams that he can walk, moves the bed aside and takes a running leap out the window flying through the country side with Nessun Dorma playing.

The original Rocky, after the fight. Everyone's sticking a mike in his face, and he's screaming for Adrian.

In the 1951 version of A Christmas Carol as Scrooge goes to his nephew's house.

Die Hard 2 as McClane lights the jet fuel and does the yippee ki yay line.

Any horror movie that films an actor walking backwards, and then reverses it so he or she is moving forward but with a weird gait.
