No!!!

We've lost alot of good character actors this year, plus all them were not too old and still only in their mid 50s or early 60s...

Plus he played a cool Bond henchman (Dr. Kaufmann).

I can't believe he was only 57! I thought he would be about 70 by now. That's unfortunate.

He definitely had a unique look, something that made him stand out. He added a lot to his characters. I'll bet the light came for him, and not those nasty shadows.

Awesome actor. I've seen him in so many things over the years, though I'll always think of him first as part of that great Cuckoo's Nest ensemble.

Well, either that or as the holographic weapons dealer on Star Trek: TNG or as Jenny Calendar's uncle on Buffy. But those last two are because I'm a nerd.

Wow. This is a surprise. I wasn't even aware that he was sick.

This sounds horrible, but I'm sure I'm not alone. I never could have told you the guys name, never, but looking back on it I pretty much always enjoyed his performances and characters. Perhaps that's a sign of a truly great character actor?

He looks like a Marfan's syndrome patient. They tend to die younger than most.
