Here's the Miami Vice teaser trailer!

UPDATED: Here's the teaser in glorious Quicktime, with no Flash or Bacardi:

http://www.apple.com/trailers/universal/miamivice/

-----------------------------------------------------------

It's a hassle to get to -- the Miami Vice website sends you to the Bacardi website to see it -- and it's in Flash, but here it is:

Ah yes......Bacardi.

Pretty generic teaser, but it's Michael Mann so I 'm there.

I like Michael Mann...but that teaser doesn't make me the least bit interested in that movie.

This teaser does nothing to me. I'll wait until the full trailer is out before making a decision.

Where's the Miami vice music that we all know? Linkin Park's Numb shouldn't be in this trailer.

I agree--where's the nostalgia factor with the TV show's theme music or, at least, a remake of same? Nevertheless, Mann =

is it necessary to start a new thread for each new trailer? isn't there already a big trailer thread?

I prefer individual threads for movies that are worth the discussion.

I think it looks great aside from that crappy music. Mann's visual style is definetley there. The main reason why this movie is gonna rock is because RZA is doing the score.

Didn't realize RZA is doing the score.
His 'Ghost Dog' score is one of my favorites.

It's Michael Mann, so I'm there. And thankfully the teaser appears to confirm that this is a serious movie adaptation. Not a comedic take on the material like Charlie's Angels or Dragnet(although I did enjoy the latter).

I'll see it opening night. Michael Mann directing makes it a no-brainer, a mullet on Colin Farrell is just a bonus.
I'm glad that it's not going to be anything like the show. We should just forget about the 80s.

So does Jamie Foxx having first billing make Tubbs the star? Maybe their names will appear at the same time in the credits like for Heat and Crimson Tide.

Not sure about the music, but the style is definitely Michael Mann to a T. Here's hoping for an R rated action movie and not something watered down to get a PG-13 and teenagers. Trailer overall: B-. Music: C, Style: A

Considering how much work he did on the show I have full trust in the Man(n). I'm there opening night.

I love how he weaves his crime stories and I'm glad he took a serious take on it opposed to the comedy bullshit they have done in the past with Charles Angels, Dragnet, etc.

I'm sold.
