Whats Your Favourite Clint Eastwood Movie???
I narrow my choice down to three, in this order:
1. Where Eagles Dare 2. Dirty Harry 3. The Eiger Sanction Be interested to see what others think. |
That he directed - Mystic River
That he starred in - The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly |
Outlaw Josey Wales
Unforgiven High Plains Drifter |
|
That he directed (and starred in): The Outlaw Josey Wales
That he starred in: The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly |
1. THE BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY (yeah, kiss my ass)
2. THE GOOD, THE BAD AND THE UGLY 3. UNFORGIVEN |
Directed: High Plains Drifter
Starred in: GBU |
1. The Outlaw Josey Wales
2. Dirty Harry 3. The Good, the Bad and the Ugly |
Easy pick for me: IN THE LINE OF FIRE
|
No particular order for the following 4:
A Fistful of Dollars For a Few Dollars More The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly The Outlaw Josey Wales |

I would put that up there too. Great film. I would rank MILLION DOLLAR BABY, UNFORGIVEN, DIRTY HARRY, PLAY MISTY FOR ME, and IN THE LINE OF FIRE up there as well. CITY HEAT is his worst. Nobody can argue that, just try. |
Where Eagles Dare
|
paint your wagon is worse then city heat
|
As actor, easily "Good, Bad, Ugly"
As director, "High Plains Drifter" (I wouldn't say its his best, but its my favorite) |
It would be a toss up for me between the Man with no Name trilogy, Pale Rider, and In the Line of Fire.
While I liked the Dirty Harry movies I never thought they were great outside of the few lines the series is famous for.

I think that A Perfect World is an excellent, excellent movie.
In the Line of Fire and The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly are some of my favorites as well. His best directed movie would have to be Mystic River. |

Try again. |
That he starred in - The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly
That he directed - The Beguiled The Eiger Sanction, Thunderbolt and Lightfoot, Joe Kidd and Two Mules for Sister Sara are highly underrated. And City Heat is far from his worst. |
