I guess Scott Schwartz was preparing for his future in porn when he got his tongue stuck on the pole.

I just watched this earlier, and I would swear that instead of the word in bold above, he said "petty", regardless of what IMDB says.

Just checked it. Here is the exact quote straight from the movie (and the subtitles match it):

"Over the years I got to be quite a connossieur of soap. My personal preference is for Lux, but I found Palmolive had a nice, piquant after-dinner flavor - heady, but with just a touch of mellow smoothness. Life Buoy, on the other hand... YECCHH!"

Heady! Well, I guess it turned out to be a hybrid of both "heavy" and "petty". I knew at least I heard a hard consonant sound at the end of the word.

Thanks for the clarification!

Those of you who are tired of this movie are just being scrooges.

As with anything that is overexposed it will "get old" just like Family Guy. It's cool so long as it stays OUT of the mainstream.

I love the movie NOT because of the 80's nostalgia but because I think every kid who has ever wanted something so badly for Christmas can relate. We all have those daydreams where we are the hero or we are in the middle of some crazy scenario. It's a universal movie that anyone who has ever wanted something for Christmas can relate to.

I watch it only around Christmas time and it still warms me up everytime I see it. The old man steals the show!
